Unity Cross® – Rustic Wood & Warm Ivory

The Unity Cross®  is a multi-piece ceremony sculpture assembled by the bride and groom during the wedding unity ceremony, representing how two lives come together as one. Each component of the cross is placed with intention, visually reflecting the unique and complementary roles within a Christ-centered marriage.

Meaning & Symbolism

In this design, the outer cross, placed by the groom, represents strength, covering, and sacrificial love—reflecting his call to love selflessly, offer protection, and guide the marriage with care. The inner cross, placed by the bride, represents beauty, grace, and support—reflecting the nurturing, respect, and tenderness she brings into the union. Though distinct in form, both pieces are incomplete on their own and are designed to come together in unity.

Once the two cross pieces are joined, they are secured by three pegs representing God—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—signifying that marriage is joined by Him. This act reflects God’s design for marriage, where male and female become one in covenant, as expressed in Matthew 19:4–6.

Design Details

This Unity Cross® features a wood-style outer cross with a rustic finish, paired with a warm ivory inner cross. The contrast between the natural wood tones and the soft ivory center creates a meaningful visual expression of strength and grace coming together as one. This design is especially well suited for rustic, outdoor, nature-inspired, or warm, organic ceremony settings.

The completed Unity Cross® is displayed on a black base, providing visual contrast and a stable presentation following the unity ceremony.

Images of the ceremony guide are displayed directly within the product listing for easy review. An editable digital copy may be provided upon request once the Unity Cross® is reserved, allowing your officiant to personalize the wording if desired.
