The Wood Pedestal Base for Cedar Crosses is designed to elevate the presence of our cedar cross designs—both visually and symbolically—adding warmth, depth, and a grounded sense of reverence to your ceremony space. When paired with one of our cedar cross designs, it will raise the overall height from 7 feet to approximately 8 feet, creating a more prominent and visually impactful focal point.

In addition to its visual presence, this pedestal base will provide added weight and stability, making it especially well-suited for outdoor ceremonies and venues where wind may be a factor. Its solid construction helps anchor the cross securely, which is why it is often recommended by venues for exposed or outdoor locations.

Design & Craftsmanship

Crafted from solid wood and finished in a warm, cedar-inspired stain, this pedestal base offers exceptional sturdiness and a refined, intentional finish. Each edge will be carefully trimmed for a polished, finished look, including the upper trim where the cross rises from the base—ensuring a clean, high-quality appearance from every angle.

Measuring approximately 26” wide x 26” deep x 17” high, the base will provide a strong, substantial foundation that enhances the scale and stature of the cross without overwhelming the ceremony setting. Its proportions are intentionally designed to feel balanced, timeless, and visually grounded.

The pedestal may be styled with florals, candles, or other meaningful elements and may be used in multiple places throughout the ceremony space, including altar placement, prayer or communion moments, or other symbolic uses.
